Sophia Voelker is a self-taught visual artist who sells and exhibits her work in Cambridge and Madison, Wisconsin. Her artwork reflects whimsy, thought-provoking moments, and introspection found in her daily experiences. Her art pieces are created either with acrylic paint on stretched canvas, driftwood, clay, or digital art. It is Sophia's wish to see art used as a continued form of support for daring concepts and reflection of society and one’s community, through an artistic lens. It is important to note that while times can be trying, laughter should not be shamed if the artwork's purpose is to bring joy. It is also this artist's wish that admiration, contemplation, and understanding are felt when observers view her art. |
